Derrick A. Rubin

DERRICK A. RUBIN, ESQ. joined the legal team at Wisselman, Harounian & Associates, P.C. in July of 1997, and specializes in the practice of personal injury, debtor and creditor, estate planning, residential and commercial real estate, landlord/tenant, civil litigation, traffic, criminal, and corporate law.

In addition, Mr. Rubin is a skilled trial attorney who handles a variety of divorce and family law cases, including child custody and visitation, neglect, domestic violence, determination of marital assets, appreciation on separate property, geographic relocation, restraining orders preventing relocation, Uniform Interstate Family Support Act actions, Writs of Habeas Corpus, enhanced earning capacity, omnibus pendent lite motions, and Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Act issues. In fact, the New York Law Journal prominently featured two of Mr. Rubin’s cases on the front page of their publication.

Mr. Rubin is a graduate of the Hofstra University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate in 1984. He also has a B.S. in Business from the Business School of the University of New York at Albany, where he graduated cum laude in 1981.

Mr. Rubin has been a member of the New York State Bar since 1985 and is also admitted to the Eastern and Southern District since 1993.
