LAUREN CHARTAN, Esq. joined our firm in February 2010. Prior to this, she was a Deputy County Attorney for the Office of the Nassau County Attorney. While there, Lauren was actively involved in matters involving civil rights litigation (State and Federal), employment discrimination and civil matters. Previously, Ms. Chartan was a Senior Trial Attorney for the Legal Aid Society, where she practiced criminal defense law, representing clients in Criminal and Supreme Courts through trial.
Ms. Chartan now concentrates on matrimonial and family law, including, divorce, equitable distribution, child custody and visitation, support matters and family offense disputes. With a deep concern for protecting the best interests of children, she works diligently to arrive at resolutions which can protect and preserve the parent-child relationship. She also handles complex matters of civil litigation, and business law matters for the firm.
Ms. Chartan appears and litigates in the Family and Supreme Courts throughout Long Island, Westchester and within all five boroughs of New York City.
